Rare Sea Glass Gold-plated Necklace Sustainable Handpicked from Scotland and Handmade in Dubai

A lovely frosted blue or aquamarine sea glass gold-plated necklace drilled and set in a gold-plated chain.

Each piece was handpicked from a beach in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland,  making it the perfect gift for anyone who appreciates handmade jewelry and loves nature, the sea, Scotland or all of those things. 

Blue and Aquamarine sea glass colors are a rare find. It is thought that only about one in 250 or so pieces of real sea glass is found in a cobalt blue color, and double that for cornflower blue sea glass.

Most Aqua sea glass is over 100-years-old. Many of these sea glass shards are thick, bubbly and have the vibrant inner glow of the ocean itself.

The bail used to attach the sea glass piece to the chain is made of gold-plated sterling silver, while the chain is made of 22K gold-plated stainless steel.

We do not change the shape or colors of our beach finds. This is authentic sea glass tumbled by the waves for decades and washed onto the beaches as a beautiful & unique piece of history with a story to tell.
